EV Charging

In today’s environment it may be time to consider purchasing an electric vehicle and installing an electric vehicle charger.

For quicker charging a dedicated EV charger is a must have, these can also be configured to charge at off peak rates which are available from your electricity retailer.

Zappi EV Chargers are manufactured in the UK and are well known as one of the better EV Chargers available in Australia.

This equipment is available for all types of electric vehicles;

They can be configured to operate purely from your grid supplied power at all times, on a timer so only off peak electricity is used or to make use of any excess solar power you may self generate.
If you currently have a solar power system, the Zappi will guarantee that you will self consume all of your self generated energy rather than sell back to the grid for a pittance.

Three modes of charge are programmable;

Fast
Charges at the fastest rate
Charges your EV at the fastest rate using solar generated power and imported grid power as required

ECO
Adjusts the charge rate to limit the use of grid electricity.
The charge rate is continuously adjusted, in response to changes in generation or power consumption
elsewhere in the home, thereby minimising the use of grid power

ECO+
Adjusts the charge rate to limit the use of grid electricity and will pause the
charge if there is too much or any grid electricity being used (setup dependant)
The charge rate is continuously adjusted, in response to changes in generation or power consumption
elsewhere in the home, thereby minimising the use of grid power. Charging will pause if there is too much
imported power, continuing only when there is enough surplus power available. The surplus power threshold
at which the charge will start or stop can be set using Min Green Level in the ECO+ Settings of the
Charge Settings menu.
